Audit Log
See who changed what in your organization — sign-ins, credential and connector changes, invites, and billing events.
The Audit Log, under Settings, is your organization's record of who did what and when. Use it to answer questions like "who rotated that API key?", "when was this teammate invited?", or "who connected our Salesforce account?".
Who can see it
Viewing the audit log requires the view_audit_log permission. Owners and Admins have it by default. If your role doesn't hold it, the Audit Log section won't appear on your Settings page at all.
Members can be granted view_audit_log on its own, without being promoted to Admin — so someone doing a compliance review doesn't also get the ability to change billing or remove teammates. Ask your Talkr platform operator; see Team & Invites for how role permissions work.
What gets recorded
| Category | Events |
|---|---|
| Access and identity | Sign-ins, invites sent and revoked, members activated or deactivated, IP allowlist changes, SSO setup |
| Credentials and connectors | Credentials created, updated and deleted; OAuth apps registered; connectors connected; connector access requests approved or rejected |
| Configuration | Agents created, pronunciation dictionary changes, organization name changes, concurrent call limit changes |
| Billing | Payments verified, credit adjustments, credit expiry changes |
| Platform access | When a Talkr operator signs in as one of your users |
That last row is deliberate. If a Talkr operator uses support impersonation to sign in as one of your users, it is recorded in your audit log, with the email of the account they accessed.
Reading an entry
Each row shows when it happened, who did it (or System for automated events), the event, and the target it applied to — a credential, an invite, a teammate.
Rows with extra detail are expandable: click one to see the recorded metadata as JSON. For example, a credential change records the credential's name and type — never its secret value.
Filtering
Use the dropdown above the table to narrow to a single event type. The list of available events comes from the server, so it always matches what your deployment actually records.
What isn't shown
The audit log shows events belonging to your organization only. Two categories are excluded:
- Other organizations' events. Filtering is applied server-side; there is no way to see another tenant's records.
- Talkr-internal platform records. Notes a Talkr operator keeps about your account (contract tier, internal account notes) and platform-wide configuration changes are not part of your organization's audit trail.
Retention
Entries are kept for as long as your organization exists — there is no scheduled deletion or rolling retention window, so the trail goes back to your first recorded event.
Security Settings
Change your password and sign out other devices, lock access to known networks with an IP allowlist, connect your identity provider, and set the usage alerts that warn you before a cap bites.
Single Sign-On
Let your team sign in to Talkr through your own identity provider — Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, Google Workspace, and any other OpenID Connect provider.
