WebEngage
Track events, update user profiles, and trigger transactional campaigns from a live call.
The WebEngage connector lets your voice agents record engagement events, keep user profiles current, and trigger already-launched transactional campaigns (order confirmations, follow-ups) — directly from a conversation, using your organization's own WebEngage account.
Connect it
WebEngage uses an API key, not OAuth.
- Go to /connectors and click Connect on WebEngage.
- Enter your API Host, License Code, and API Key — all found under WebEngage Dashboard > Data Platform > Integrations > REST API.
- Click Connect.
WebEngage's REST API is split across four regional hosts: https://api.webengage.com (Global), https://api.in.webengage.com (India), https://api.ksa.webengage.com (Saudi Arabia), https://api.eug.webengage.com (Europe). Use whichever matches your dashboard's own domain.
Actions
| Action | Description | Parameters |
|---|---|---|
track_event | Record a custom event against a user profile. | user_id (required), event_name (required), event_details |
update_user | Create or update a user profile. | user_id (required), first_name, last_name, email, phone |
trigger_transactional_campaign | Trigger an already-launched transactional campaign (Push/SMS/Email/WhatsApp) for a user. | campaign_id (required), user_id (required), message |
Attach these to a workflow node like any other tool — see Tools for how tool attachment and invocation work.
Example
Right after confirming an order on a call, the agent calls trigger_transactional_campaign with the order-confirmation campaign ID so the caller gets an SMS receipt before they've even hung up.
